Volunteering

Volunteers are an integral part of a school community.  At Virginia Park School, we welcome volunteers and look for opportunities to engage them in our learning environment.  Activities could include:

• classroom - helping students, assisting the classroom teacher
• clerical - laminating, typing, photocopying, collating, preparing lesson materials, assembling displays
• library - shelving books, assisting with annual inventory, filing, helping at book fairs
• student activities - assisting, supervising, and/or organizing field trips and extra-curricular events
