Virginia Park Elementary School has an incredible group of parents and community members who support our school. Two ways for parents and community members to become involved are through the Virgina Park School Council (VPSC) and the Virginia Park Fundraising Association (VPFRA).
School Council is an important forum through which members of our school community share information and have meaningful discussions related to school improvement. During these meetings, parents have an opportunity to hear from school staff and other members about upcoming events and ask questions related to the school, programming, and district news. Virginia Park School Council monthly meeting dates are set by the Executive at the beginning of the school year, and can be found on SchoolZone. For general questions or concerns, you can contact email@example.com for more information.
The Virginia Park Fundraising Association is our fundraising group and they meet immediately after School Council. Their efforts, through such events as our annual Fine Arts Night and bi-annual casino, make it possible to offer staff additional supplies to enrich the learning experience and for students to participate in yearly Artist-in-Residencies, ArtQuake Workshops, as well as outstanding Arts Field Trips. A membership is required to participate in meetings, but there is no cost. Simply contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
