Lunch & Nutrition

Virginia Park School offers a lunch program for the students who must remain at the school.  Our goal is to make lunch a pleasant break in the school day for the students who require this service.  To maintain a safe environment it is expected that the students follow appropriate behaviour.   

We have a modified lunch schedule this year to keep the cohorts seperated during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Supervised Lunch Schedule:  

Lunch is eaten from 12:00 – 12:20 for Grades 2, 4 and 5 

Recess time is from: 12:20 – 12:40 for Grades 2, 4 and 5 

Lunch is eaten from 12:20 – 12:40 for Grades 1, 3 and 6 

Recess time is from: 12:00 – 12:20 for Grades 1, 3 and 6 

Weather conditions may determine the length of play or location.
