Parent Groups

Virginia Park Elementary School is fortunate to have a wonderful community of parents and community members who actively support our school. There are two key ways to get involved: through the Virginia Park School Council (VPSC) and the Virginia Park Fundraising Association (VPFRA).

Virginia Park School Council (VPSC) provides an important forum for families and staff to share information and engage in meaningful conversations about school improvement. Meetings offer parents the opportunity to hear updates about upcoming events, ask questions, and learn more about school programming and district news. The Virginia Park Fundraising Association (VPFRA) is our fundraising group and meets immediately following School Council meetings. Through initiatives such as our annual Fine Arts Night and bi-annual casino, VPFRA helps provide additional supplies to enrich learning and supports opportunities such as yearly Artist-in-Residencies, workshops, art supplies, Art Gallery School, and outstanding arts-focused field trips. A membership is required to participate in meetings, but there is no cost. For more information, please contact vpscfra@gmail.com.
